About MoveFree

To Move Free is to feel at home in your body and to express strength, flexibility and balance in unison. This 2-part series will teach you where movement comes from so that you can express it in your own beautifully authentic way! We'll inject the uninhibited movements of dance with traditional yoga sequences to create the most beautiful meditation there is: one in which you move without fear, without judgment, and in a way that honors who you truly are.

In MoveFree I, you will learn not only the technical foundations of movement, but also how to let go and be free! I will lead you through the five different essential elements of MoveFree: strength, balance, flexibility, conditioning, and dance transitions. In MoveFree II we’ll take your newfound freedom, flexibility and strength and deepen your creativity. We’ll explore more intense postures and play with more challenging transitions.

Tamara Levinson-Campos

Tamara Levinson-Campos was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and grew up in New York City. At age 15, she represented the USA at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain, in the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. After being a three time USA National Champion and competing in world class international competitions, she moved on to dancing professionally.

Tamara’s versatility as a dancer, gymnast, rhythmic gymnast, aerial artist, contortionist and actress led her to having an over 20 year career as a working dancer. She danced on three world tours with Madonna, performed along side of No Doubt, Avril Lavigne, Usher, Gwen Stefani, Rihanna and more. Her love for live avant-garde theatre and performance art coincided with her Argentine roots when she joined the original NYC Off-Broadway cast of “De La Guarda”. She was later a part of the creative team for the ongoing hit show Fuerzabruta in NYC.

Tamara has had the great pleasure of working with the legendary Twyla Tharp. She continues dancing and choreographing for popular artists on stage, tv commercials and film. Mrs. Levinson-Campos has been teaching all styles of movement for over 20 years. She consistently creates works of her own in all mediums. She considers herself an artist of movement, where the creative mind is limitless, needs no labels, its all just freedom of self expression. Her greatest accomplishment is her creation YOGANCE.

YOGANCE is the end result of her over 30 years of body, mind and soul searching. It is the culmination of everything she has picked up along the way as a student, performer and teacher. She is humbled to be able to share it with you beYOUtiful warriors.

When you're lost in movement, you'll find that this moving meditation has a simple purpose – to make you feel HAPPY! I created this series to help you find this happiness in your movement every day.

MoveFree injects the uninhibited movements of dance into traditional yoga sequences. Each day you will practice with me as I lead you through the different essential elements of MoveFree: strength, balance, flexibility, conditioning, and dance transitions. The goal is to help you understand where movement comes from so that you can express it in your own beautiful way.

Included are five yoga-inspired sequences that repeat over the month. At the end of every week we bring it all together with our dance transitions sequence, which is where you will experience and put into motion all of the work you have been learning and developing in the previous classes.

You'll learn not only the technical foundations of movement, but also how to let go and be free! To just move, and be the beautiful person that you are! This is my greatest joy and I'm so happy to share it with you!

Welcome to MoveFree II!

This month-long series is an extension of MoveFree I. It builds upon the strength, balance and flexibility you developed in the previous plan and shows you how to express them in a deeper, more creative way.

Included are five yoga-inspired sequences that repeat over the month. Every day you will focus on a different aspect of the practice including strength, balance, conditioning, and dance transitions, which is where you will experience and put into motion all of the work you have been learning and developing in the previous classes.

We'll continue to sharpen your mind and body connection by exploring more intense postures and playing with free-flowing movement. Each sequence is an opportunity to build upon the most important relationship you will ever have – the one with yourself!
